My name is Gabriel (Gabe) Garriga, the creator of Simple Sages. I consider myself a lifelong learner and reader who developed an interest in classical books. I have a Master of Arts in Christian and Classical Studies through Knox Theological Seminary.
With Simple Sages I hope to recover/create in others an enjoyment of the act of reading, not just the result of obtaining information, by processing great works through the lens of “Classic Christianity”.
Simple Sages seeks to recover a love for literature by making classic works accessible to a broad audience who may otherwise not consider these works to engage. It seeks to do this through discussion and reflection of the writings and their ideas ranging from works antiquity to modern times.
